Your client can choose between two application types: Individual or Sole Proprietorship. All accounts are intended and regulated for individual use.
The Individual application type is recommended for most users.
However, if your client operates a sole-proprietorship, we recommend they select the Sole Proprietorship application type. This option provides access to the DBA (Doing Business As) functionality, which allows your client to send and receive funds under their business' name. This application type is not available to Limited Liability Company (LLC) or incorporated (Inc.) business types. Currence does not support business applications, but is able to provide access to the DBA function to sole proprietors since they are not legally separated from their business entity the way LLCs or incorporated companies are.
If your client runs into any issues, contact Currence Support.
