All previous calculations can be reviewed at any time via the History tab in the navigation menu.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do I find the Time Value calculators in the Strategist portal?
The calculators are accessible from any screen while you are logged in to the Strategist portal. Look for the calculator icon or "Calculators" shortcut in the persistent navigation β you do not need to navigate away from your current workflow to open them.
Q: Can I view my past calculations?
Yes. All calculations you have run are saved automatically. To view your calculation history, select the History tab from the navigation menu. From there you can review inputs and results from prior sessions.
Q: Can multiple Strategists see each other's calculation history?
Calculation history is tied to your individual Strategist account and login. Each Strategist's history is private to their own session.
Q: Should I enter interest rates as a percentage or a decimal?
Enter rates as a percentage (e.g., enter 6 for 6%, not 0.06). The calculator handles the conversion internally. If you are unsure, check the field label β it will indicate the expected format.
Q: Do the calculators use annual or monthly rates?
The calculators work on a per-period basis. The rate you enter should match the compounding/payment period you are using:
If payments are monthly and you have an annual rate of 6%, enter the monthly rate of 0.5% (6 Γ· 12).
If payments are annual, enter the full annual rate.
Always ensure your rate period and number of periods are consistent (e.g., monthly rate + number of months, or annual rate + number of years).
Q: My calculation history is not showing a past calculation. What happened?
Calculation history is saved to your account and accessible from the History tab in the navigation menu. If a calculation is missing, it is possible the session was interrupted before saving. History is associated with your individual login, so ensure you are logged in to the correct account. Reach out to support if you believe history data is missing unexpectedly.
Q: I would like to see a calculator that is not currently in the suite. How do I request it?
Currence is actively building out the calculator suite. Please reach out directly via your support channel with requests for additional calculators. Feature requests from Strategists directly inform the product roadmap.
